Report Abuse

• Illegal content: child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, incitement to hatred or violence, harassment, threats, defamation.
• Scams and fraud: phishing, fake stores, fake giveaways, payment fraud, pyramid schemes.
• Counterfeit, dangerous or prohibited products.
• Intellectual property infringement: copyright, trademarks, designs.
• Impersonation of a person or a brand, and violations of privacy or image rights.
• Spam and unsolicited emails sent with Roctify.
• Malware, malicious links and technical abuse of the Services.
• Security vulnerabilities in Roctify (see section 5).

Send your report by email to [email protected] with the subject "Abuse report". This address is our single point of contact for users and for authorities under the Digital Services Act. We accept reports in French and English.

To allow us to act quickly, please include:

• the exact URL of the page, store, product or email concerned, and a screenshot if possible;
• a clear explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or breaches our rules, and the law or right concerned if you know it;
• your name and email address (not required for reports of child sexual abuse material);
• a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the information in your report is accurate and complete.

For an intellectual property infringement, also indicate the protected work or trademark, proof that you own the rights or are authorised to act on behalf of the owner, and where the original can be found.

Reporting content that you know to be lawful, in order to have it removed, may engage your liability under French law.

• We send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email.
• A member of our team reviews your report diligently, objectively and without arbitrariness. We act as quickly as possible, and within 24 hours for the most serious cases (child sexual abuse, terrorism, imminent danger).
• If the content is illegal or breaches our rules, we may remove it, restrict its visibility, suspend sales or emails, or suspend or close the account concerned, in proportion to the seriousness of the breach.
• We inform you of our decision and, where relevant, of the means of redress available to you.
• We inform the user concerned of the decision and its reasons, unless the law prevents it.
• When content may constitute a criminal offence threatening the life or safety of people, we inform the competent authorities.

We keep your identity confidential and only share it with the user concerned if it is necessary to handle your report (for example for an intellectual property claim) or if the law requires it.

If you are the author of the reported content, or if you submitted the report, you can challenge our decision free of charge within 6 months by replying to our notification or writing to [email protected]. Explain why you believe the decision is wrong. A person, not an automated system, will review your appeal and we will inform you of the outcome.

You can also refer the dispute to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act, or to the competent courts.

We may suspend, after a warning, users who frequently publish manifestly illegal content, and people who frequently submit manifestly unfounded reports.

If you discover a security vulnerability in Roctify, please report it to [email protected] with the subject "Security", with enough detail for us to reproduce it. Please give us reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it publicly, do not access or modify data that does not belong to you, and do not disrupt the Services. We will not take legal action against researchers who act in good faith and respect these rules.

We keep a record of the reports we receive and of the decisions we take, and we publish the information required by the Digital Services Act where it applies to us. The legal information about Roctify is available in our Legal notice.
